Technical Services Specialist

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Coordinate and manage audit schedules and compliance tracking for the Almond Board’s Pasteurization and Pre-Export Check (PEC) programs.
  • Administer research and contract projects, track budgets, gather data, and ensure deliverables stay on target.
  • Maintain data systems and technical resources—crafting reports, charts, and presentations for committees and industry events.
  • Collaborate with experts, inspectors, and processors across the almond industry to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Review and monitor validation reports and audit findings, supporting stakeholders to meet safety and compliance standards.

Our ideal candidate requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in science, data management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years in food safety, regulatory auditing, QA, or technical services.
  • Top-tier organizational and data analysis skills, especially with Excel, databases, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • The ability to manage details without losing sight of deadlines and big-picture goals.
